From the temple, start your trek towards Lamadugh. Carry adequate food, water, and medical supplies so that you reach your destination safe and healthy. En route, you will get mesmerizing views of Manali and the upper Kullu valley.

Itinerary

To reach Manali, you have several transport options that include a combination of buses, trains, and flights, with the nearest airport at Bhuntar and the nearest railway stations at Ambala and Chandigarh. In the morning, reach the famous Hadimba Temple, sharp at 10:00 AM to commence your trek to Lamadugh. The steep trail will cross thick forests of deodar and pine. Do not forget to carry enough water bottles and a packed lunch, as there is no water source between Manali and Lamadugh, which is five hours away. The trail offers a magnificent glimpse of Manali, located on the left bank of River Beas. The entire upper Kullu valley with its vibrant colors, is clearly visible en route.

Your trip ends on this day. After breakfast, check out from your camp in Old Manali. You have the option to explore attractions like the Solang Valley, Vashisht Hot Springs, and Jogini Falls – one of the highest waterfalls in Himachal Pradesh. You can also visit Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Mall Road, Kasol, Manikaran, and many other places. You could also indulge in adventure sports like paragliding, white water rafting, trout fishing, river crossing, rock climbing, rappelling, bike riding, and more.
